Loading ...Eufranio C. Eriguel, M.D. is the current Mayor of the municipality of Agoo of the province of La Union, Philippines. Dr. Eriguel was born on June 12, 1959 in Agoo, La Union to Dr. Femy Fangonil Eriguel and Mrs. Bibiana Chan Eriguel.
He finished his elementary education at Agoo East Central School as a salutatorian in 1971 and his secondary schoolyears at Southern La Union National High School (1st Honorable Mention) where he topped the NCEE with a percentile grade of 99%. He obtained his Preparatory Medicine and Medicine Proper degrees from the University of Santo Tomas. He spent his Post Graduate Internship at Veterans Memorial Medical Center (1983-1984) Manila, Philippines.
He is a private medical practitioner. He was a Resident Physician at the Eastern Medical Hospital in Carmen, Pangasinan. He also was a Military Doctor at the Camp Dangwa Region I of Benguet province and a company Physician to the Philippine Tourism Authority.
He was elected Municipal Mayor Agoo, La Union Elections and is now the President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines, La Union Chapter.

His first term as Mayor began in 1998. He ran for Mayor and won 3 consecutive times and is now the Congressman of the 2nd district of La Union.

Also, he is married to Sandra Young Eriguel, who is now the Mayor of Agoo, La Union. They have 3 children, Stefanie Ann, Eufranio Jr. “John”, and Jacqueline.
