Loading ...Hernani Agsalud Braganza (b. August 7, 1964- ) is the current Mayor of the City of Alaminos, the City of Hundred Islands in Ilocos, a former Representative of the 1st District of Pangasinan to the 10th Philippine Congress and former Secretary of Agrarian Reform from February 12, 2001 January 15, 2003.
He went to Alaminos Central School during his primary education but finished it at Claret School of Quezon City, where he also finished his secondary schoolyears. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History- Political Science at De La Salle university (DLSU) in 1984.
Hernani started his career in politics as a municipal councilor of Alaminos, Pangasinan in 1988. Then he became Consultant for Political Affairs under Vice-Governor Ranjit Shahani. Eventually, he won a seat in Congress as Representative of the 1st District of Pangasinan.
