Referring this pm explanation of the defense team that the Coronas are just protecting the money which belong to the firm owned by the family of Mrs. Cristina Corona. I don’t understand why nobody is questioning that lame excuse. If it was really the intention to protect the money then it should have been deposited under the account of Mrs. Cristina Corona and not under the account of CJ Corona (the Bank Manager mentioned that Mrs. C Corona has 2 accounts with PSB). It was also mentioned that the CJ had issued authorization for the wife to be able to withdraw the money. If the money belongs to the firm owned by the family of Mrs. C Corona there was no need for an authorization letter; she should be able to withdraw the money anytime. I hope you were able to watch the Crusada of ABS-CBN episode shown last Thursday about the Coronas where relatives of Mrs. C Corona had to leave the Philippines for fear of their lives particularly when the CJ himself poked the gun to one of the relatives of Mrs. C. I’m wondering why there was no much publicity about it.
Anyway …. I can say that the job of the Prosecution is really difficult as the burden of proof is at your hand while the defense team is showing to the public how good the lawyers are never mind if their client is guilty so long as they can show to the world how brilliant lawyers they are!
