Loading ...Neptali M. Gonzales II is the current Mayor of the City of Mandaluyong. He was born on September 01, 1960 and is the only son of the former Senator Neptali Gonzales.
He finished his Bachelor of Arts at Far Eastern University in 1975, and his Bachelor of Laws at the Ateneo de Manila University in 1979. He graduated with honors and passed the Bar Examinations with the grade of 86.48% joining the top 25 among all the Examiners.
In 1995, he joined the government service and was elected as Congressman representing the lone district of Mandaluyong City. He served as Assistant Majority Floor Leader in the House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress from 1995-2004 for his three consecutive terms in service. He was elected as Mayor of the city of Mandaluyong in 2004 and 2007 consecutively.
