Imelda R. Marcos is the widow of former President Ferdinand Marcos, and is herself an influential political figure in the Philippines. She is sometimes referred to as the Steel Butterfly or the Iron Butterfly.
Imelda was born on July 2, 1929 in San Juan de Dios Hospital in Manila. Her parents were Vicente Orestes Lopez Romuáldez (of Spanish-Chinese-Filipino blood) and Remedios Trinidad (1902–1938), the second wife of the widowed Vicente. She is of Visayan and Tagalog descent. Her paternal ancestors, the wealthy and prominent Lopezes of Leyte, claimed to have founded the town of Tolosa, Leyte. Her own branch of the family was not political. Her father was a scholarly man more interested in music and culture than in public life. Her mother, Remedios Trinidad, a dressmaker who grew up in an orphanage in Manila, said to have been an illegitimate offspring of a friar, was from the town of Baliuag, Bulacan.

Joseph Victor "JV" Ejercito is the mayor of the city of San Juan, the newest city in Metro Manila. He is the son of the ousted president Joseph "Erap" Estrada to the former socialite actress Guia Gomez. He is married to Cindy Lotuaco (39), a flight stewardess and a former beauty contest runner up.
Consuelo Ynares-Santiago

Consuelo Ynares-Santiago (born October 5, 1939) is an incumbent Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. She was appointed to the Court by President Joseph Estrada.
Appointed on April 6, 1999, Justice Ynares-Santiago is the first female member of the Supreme Court who rose from the ranks, having begun her career as a Municipal Judge.
A product of the UP College of Law where she graduated in 1962, Justice Santiago started her career in the judiciary in 1973 when she was appointed Municipal Judge of Cainta, Rizal, a position she held for thirteen years. In November 1986, she was appointed Regional Trial Court Judge of Makati where she remained until her appointment to the Court of Appeals in 1990.
Arnulfo Fuentebella

Arnulfo P. Fuentabella (born October 29, 1945) was the Speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives from 2000 to 2001. He is now a representative of Camarines Sur.
After then Speaker Manny Villar passed the President Joseph Estrada’s Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, Fuentebella was elected Speaker after Estrada’s allies in the House of Representatives motioned to make all positions in the House vacant; Fuentebella won the nomination.
