Ma. Lourdes Fernando is the mayor of the City of Marikina, the "shoe capital" of the Philippines.
Mayor Lourdes Fernando was born on February 10, 1957 in Quezon City. She is the loving wife of MMDA Chairman Bayani "BF" Fernando and the mother of their only child Tala Maria. She finished her Primary and Secondary Education at Institucion Teresiana (Poveda Learning Center). She graduated Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at University of the Philippines in 1978 and finished her Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Hotel Administration at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

Jejomar "Jojo" C. Binay is the current mayor of the City of Makati. He is also the president of the United Opposition (UNO), Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Laban (PDP-Laban) and Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
He is married to Elenita Sombillo, a doctor of medicine. Dr. Elenita S. Binay became the mayor of Makati from 1998 to 2001. Binay and his wife have five children: Maria Lourdes Nancy, Mar-Len Abigail (2nd District of Makati representative), Jejomar Erwin (Makati Councilor) Marita Angeline and Joanna Marie Blanca.

Roilo Golez is a Philippine politician on his fifth term as Member of the Philippine House of Representatives representing the Second District of Parañaque City, one of the most industrialized districts of the Philippines. A veteran legislator, he was elected in the 1992, 1995, 1998, 2004, and 2007 all by landslide victories and has served as Congressman for four terms: in the 9th Congress of the Philippines, 10th Congress of the Philippines, 11th Congress of the Philippines and 13th Congress of the Philippines. He is now starting his fifth term as congressman in the 14th Congress of the Philippines.
Roilo Golez was born on January 9, 1947 in the small town of Looc, Romblon in the Philippines. His parents were both public school teachers. He grew up in a low cost government housing project and is a product of public schools. From rural Philippines, Golez rose to success in academics, sports, government, business, civic organizations and politics.
Roilo Golez went to the Philippine Military Academy and US Naval Academy at Annapolis, U.S.A. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, major in Mathematics and Operations Analysis.

Magtanggol Tanjuan Gunigundo II (born December 11, 1964) was the present second district representative to Philippine Congress of Valenzuela City. He was also the former representative of the defunct lone district of Valenzuela and was a member of his own law firm before entering politics.
He is an alumnus of the University of the Philippines.
Representative Gunigundo, also known by his nickname Magi, was born to Filipino politician Magtanggol Gunigundo I in Tinambac, Camarines Sur. In 1978, he graduated elementary education from University of the Philippines Integrated School and secondary in 1981 at the same school. He finished AB Political Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman in 1985 and Bachelor of Laws at Ateneo de Manila University in 1989.

Salvador Roman Hidalgo Laurel (November 18, 1928 – January 27, 2004), also known as Doy Laurel, was Vice President of the Philippines from 1986 to 1992 under Corazon Aquino. Before that, he briefly served as Aquino’s first (and only) Prime Minister from February 25 to March 25 of 1986.
Laurel is the fifth son of President José P. Laurel, president of the second Philippine Republic. He first enrolled at Centro Escolar de Señoritas (1933-35) then Paco Elementary School (1935-36) followed by Justo Lukban Elementary School (1936-1937) and he graduated from elementary at Ateneo de Manila in 1941. He graduated from high school at De La Salle College High School in 1946.

Arturo Modesto Tolentino (September 19, 1910 – August 2, 2004) was a prominent political figure in the Philippines who briefly held the position of vice president in 1986. He is more well known as the father of the Philippine “archipelagic doctrine” and expert on the Law of the Sea.
Tolentino was also a former congressman (1949 – 1957) and senator 1957 – 1972). He held the Senate Presidency from (1965 – 1967). He was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs during the Marcos administration (1984 – 1985), served in the Batasang Pambansa. He was elected and again served in the Philippine Senate (1992 – 1995).
