Loading ...Thelma Z. Almario is the current Representative of the 2nd District of the province of Davao Oriental to the 14th Congress of the Philippines. She also served as Mayor of the municipality of Mati of the same province from 1967 to 1977 and Vice Governor from 2001 to 2004.
She authored the law creating the Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology (DOSCST) when she represented their district to the 8th, 9th, and 10th Congress of the Philippines. She belongs to the political dynasty dominating the province. Her son, Joel Mayo is the current Vice Governor of Davao Oriental.
