Victor R. Sumulong is the son of the illustrious Filipino Senator Lorenzo Sumulong who was elected Congressman of the lone district of Antipolo in May 14, 2001 where he became the chairman of the Committee on trade and Industry. In 1996 he was one of the directors of the Laguna Lake Development Authority. In May 14, 2007 Election, he was voted as the city mayor.
